Feisar (Brian Berndt) is a member of the Georgia Tech Machinima Group directed by Michael Nitsche <http://www.gvu.gatech.edu/machinima/>. Set in part to ISAN's "My Last Journey (Weather Balloon)," this movie adopts familiar locations from Valve's Half-Life 2 and Source maps, as well as Garry's Mod, to revisit the common machinima theme of the loss of loved ones in combat. The choice of music, selective use of visual and sound effects, and decision not to use spoken dialogue serve to emphasize the possibility provided by Half-Life 2 of using facial gestures and physics (such as tumbling weapons and bodies) for subtle emotional effect.-- HEL

"For me, the movie does not display with the proper colors in Windows Media Player. To view the movie with the correct colors you can download BSPlayer and select "Internal renderer RGB mode" from Preferences->Video->Video Rendering->Rendering mode.

ABOUT

"June" is a machinima made with Half-Life 2 by Valve. I used three different versions of Garry's Mod to make it: Garry's Mod Eight v3b, Garry's Mod 7a, and Garry's Mod 7a (For CS). All scenes are from original HL2 or Counter-Strike: Source maps, except for one scene using DM_Greenhouse by ColdWontRise.

The music in "June" is by the wonderful group ISAN: visit their site at www.isan.co.uk. The song is from the album "Blue Skied An' Clear" on the Morr Music label.

The font used for the title and credits is Bitstream Vera. >
